Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Head of Quality to lead the quality excellence mandate for our large-scale Home Textile manufacturing operations in Punjab. In this strategic leadership role, you will be the final authority on product integrity, overseeing the entire quality lifecycle from raw material procurement to the final dispatch of premium home textile products. You will work closely with plant heads, supply chain leaders, and international retail clients to ensure that our output consistently meets global quality benchmarks. By driving a culture of zero-defect manufacturing and process excellence, you will directly influence our brand reputation, minimize cost-of-poor-quality, and ensure seamless compliance with international regulatory standards, ultimately securing our competitive edge in the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control frameworks to ensure 100% compliance with international textile standards.

- Drive TQM and Six Sigma initiatives across the manufacturing floor to optimize process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall yield.

- Lead and mentor a large, multi-disciplinary quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including production, procurement, and R&D, to resolve complex quality bottlenecks and prevent recurring defects.

- Manage rigorous audit schedules and certification processes, ensuring the facility remains compliant with global social and technical compliance requirements.

- Analyze quality data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights to the senior leadership team, driving strategic decisions that enhance product durability and aesthetic standards.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale quality operations within the textile industry, with a deep understanding of weaving, processing, and made-ups.

- Proven ability to lead and transform organizational culture through the application of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and TQM methodologies.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from shop-floor operators to international retail partners.

- Strong analytical mindset, capable of translating complex quality data into strategic business improvements.

- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, on-site manufacturing environment, demonstrating resilience and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

- Educational background in Textile Engineering or a related field, complemented by relevant certifications in Quality Management systems.

- 15 - 30 years of progressive experience in the textile manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of leading quality functions at a senior leadership level.
