"Head - Quality Control (QC)" in a leading bank.
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the Quality Control function within Infra Facility Management, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal standards, and operational excellence through systematic audits, process improvements, and quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement the QC framework, policies, and SOPs for infrastructure projects and facility maintenance.
- Establish key quality benchmarks and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure infrastructure and facilities are compliant with statutory, legal, and internal control norms.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
Audit & Inspection Management:
- Lead internal and third-party audits of branches, offices, and vendor work sites.
- Identify deviations, root causes, and drive corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
- Maintain audit documentation and tracking of action closure.
Vendor Quality Assurance:
- Define vendor evaluation parameters for quality adherence.
- Review vendor performance reports and initiate quality improvement plans as needed.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor QC Managers and on-ground QC team members across regions.
- Build a strong quality culture through training, feedback, and accountability mechanisms.
MIS & Reporting:
- Drive analytics and dashboards for QC observations, trend analysis, and compliance scores.
- Submit periodic reports to leadership highlighting key risks, observations, and improvement plans.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with Infra Ops, Strategy, Projects, and Finance teams for holistic quality governance.
- Serve as an escalation point for unresolved or high-risk quality issues.

Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering (preferably Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or Facilities Management or MBA
- Additional certification in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO Auditor) is preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in with at least 5 years in a quality leadership role
- Experience in banking/NBFC/retail infrastructure preferred
