About the Role:

We are looking for a Head of QA to lead and scale our quality assurance function across a dynamic suite of enterprise-grade SaaS products. This is a strategic leadership role for a highly experienced QA professional with deep expertise in both manual and automation testing, strong knowledge of Python, Vue.js, SQL, and Elasticsearch, and a passion for driving quality at scale. As the QA Head, you will be responsible for defining QA standards, scaling automation, introducing AI-driven testing approaches, and ensuring high-quality product delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and own the overall QA strategy, vision, and roadmap for the organization

- Lead a team of QA engineers and establish best practices across manual, automation, and performance testing

- Design and scale robust automation frameworks compatible with our tech stack (Python, Vue.js)

- Implement and optimize AI-based testing solutions to improve coverage and testing velocity

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to integrate quality checks into the CI/CD pipeline

- Oversee QA planning, execution, documentation, and reporting across all major releases

- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and quality metrics

- Analyse complex technical and functional requirements to build comprehensive test strategies

- Lead defect triage, risk analysis, and ensure efficient bug tracking and resolution workflows

- Present testing outcomes, QA metrics, and case studies to senior leadership and stakeholders

- Champion a quality-first culture across the organization

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on SaaS product testing

- Proven leadership in building and managing QA teams in agile environments

- Expert knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques

- Strong hands-on experience with tools and frameworks like Selenium, PyTest, Postman, and others

- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Elasticsearch in QA workflows

- Proficiency in working within Python and Vue.js environments from a QA standpoint

- Experience with AI-based testing platforms (e.g., Testim)

- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and present QA strategies at leadership level

- QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a strong plus
