Head - Quality Assurance - Automotive

Description:

Head of Quality Assurance to lead and strengthen our quality systems across automotive operations. This role will ensure compliance with global standards, drive continuous improvement, and embed a culture of excellence across product design, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and implement QA strategy, policies, and procedures across automotive operations.

- Lead audits, certifications, and compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF, and other industry standards.

- Oversee quality planning for new product development and EV programs.

- Drive root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to embed quality into every stage.

- Mentor and develop QA teams, fostering accountability and innovation.

- Represent the organization in customer and regulatory audits.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering.

- 12+ years of experience in automotive quality leadership roles.

- Strong knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, IATF, Lean, and Six Sigma practices.

- Proven track record in audits, certifications, and supplier quality management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
