Head - Quality

Description:

We are seeking a Head of Quality to lead quality management in biotechnology operations, ensuring compliance with global standards, regulatory frameworks, and continuous improvement across R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain. This role is critical in driving product integrity, patient safety, and organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and implement quality systems, policies, and procedures across biotech operations.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, CDSCO).

- Lead audits, certifications, and inspections for biotech labs and manufacturing facilities.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product development, clinical trials, and production.

- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to embed quality into processes.

- Mentor and develop quality teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

- Monitor KPIs, analyze deviations, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in quality leadership roles within biotech/pharma.

- Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.

- Proven track record in audits, certifications, and regulatory submissions.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills.
