Head - Prospecting & Distribution Platforms

The Opportunity :
As the Head of Prospecting & Distribution Platforms, you will lead the technology and digital agenda for the groups omnichannel distribution stack. This is a critical leadership role responsible for owning the end-to-end application ecosystem, driving an AI-led transformation, and managing a robust SaaS portfolio. You will act as the single point of ownership for the "single pane of glass" platform that empowers distributors across all group entities.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Platform Strategy & Roadmap :
- Visionary Leadership : Define and execute the omnichannel distribution visionspanning onboarding, sales enablement, and performance management.
- End-to-End Ownership : Manage the B2D (Business to Distributor) platform roadmap, including the product, underlying architecture, and the surrounding SaaS ecosystem.
- Architectural Governance : Champion platform architecture decisions, balancing seamless distributor journeys with technical scalability and trade-offs.
2. Adoption & Outcome Accountability :
- Metric-Driven Growth : Sustain and grow adoption through rigorous tracking of DAU/MAU, feature-level usage analytics, and stickiness ratios.
- Optimization : Conduct monthly reviews on drop-off points and low-usage cohorts; own the action plan to close gaps.
- Feedback Loops : Translate field signals into product decisions to ensure the platform solves real-world distributor challenges.
3. SaaS Vendor Governance :
- Strategic Oversight : Own outcome-linked SLAs across a diverse portfolio (Vymo, LeadSquared, Ubona, Salesforce, etc.).
- Vendor Rigor : Drive performance accountability, penalty enforcement, and CR discipline.
- Portfolio Rationalization : Progressively consolidate the SaaS stack to eliminate duplication and maximize ROI.
4. AI & Intelligent Automation
- Innovation : Embed AI natively into prospecting and distribution workflows to drive efficiency.
- Collaboration : Partner with the AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to industrialize agentic automation within the value stream.
- Guardrails : Ensure all AI deployments comply with DPDP, IRDAI, and responsible AI frameworks.
The Profile We Are Looking For :
Core Experience :
- Industry Expertise : 12+ years of experience, with a proven track record of building or scaling distribution/partner platforms within BFSI (Insurance, Banking, Wealth, or AMC).
- Dual Competency : You must be comfortable acting as both the Product Owner and the Platform Owner.
- Vendor Management : Extensive experience running multi-vendor SaaS portfolios with measurable business outcomes.
Leadership & Technical Skills :
- Architectural Fluency : Equally capable of discussing distributor UX journeys and complex technical trade-offs.
- Executive Presence : Ability to sell a long-term vision to the CEO while remaining "hands-on" enough to debug a change request with a vendor.
- Agile Mindset : Experience leading persistent, outcome-accountable squads with a focus on sprint cadence and release governance.
