Job Description:

We are looking for a Head Projects for our client in the Fashion, Apparel, and Retail Ecommerce industry.

Experience:

20+ years (minimum 12-14 years in a leadership or senior management role).

Role Summary:

The Head Projects will be responsible for end-to-end execution of PAN India EBO (Exclusive Brand Outlet) store rollout projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality benchmarks. This role leads a cross-functional team including site execution, quality audit, and billing, while driving strategic project planning and stakeholder alignment across all regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Delivery:

- Oversee end-to-end execution of EBO store fit-out projects across PAN India, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

- Drive project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking across multiple simultaneous rollouts.

- Manage on-site works False Ceiling, Panelling, Tiling, Painting, Glazing, Electrical Wiring, Carpentry, MEP, and HVAC.

- Coordinate with regional teams and contractors to resolve site challenges and maintain momentum.

2. Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and manage Assistant Managers, Site Engineers, and supervisors across regions.

- Build a high-performance execution team capable of handling large-scale EBO rollouts.

- Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure accountability at every level.

3. Quality Audit:

- Lead and institutionalize a structured quality audit process across all project sites.

- Define quality benchmarks, conduct regular site inspections, and enforce brand and design standards.

- Drive corrective action on non-conformances and ensure resolution before project handover.

- Prepare and present quality audit reports to senior leadership.

4. Billing & Cost Management:

- Manage project billing and cost control measures.

5. Stakeholder Management & Reporting:

- Manage stakeholders and provide regular project reporting.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Proven track record in large-scale, multi-location EBO or retail store fit-out projects across India.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of MEP works, Interiors, and HVAC systems.

- Demonstrated experience in leading quality audit and billing or commercial teams.

- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with strong prioritisation skills.

- Willingness for extensive Pan India travel.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Hindi speaking is an added advantage.

Education:

- B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering, or Diploma or B.Sc. in Interior Design.

Industry:

- Fashion Retail or Apparel.

- PMP or Prince2 certification preferred (not mandatory).

- Retail & E-Commerce.
