Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and collaborative Head Projects to lead multiple renovation and fitout projects for a major hospitality client. This role is based in Gurgaon and reports to the Development Director.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Development Director

Leads: Design Manager, Planner, Commercial Manager, Construction Manager + Construction Teams

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction

- Develop master schedule, budget, and procurement strategy

- Formulate construction logistics plan

- Coordinate cost planning and budget preparation

- Lead design reviews, value engineering, and timely release of design packages

Programme Management

- Track schedules fortnightly/monthly

- Oversee BOI deliveries and store management

- Identify delays and propose acceleration strategies

- Flag risks and suggest mitigation plans

- Coordinate shutdowns with hotel operations and asset management teams

Contracts & Cost Management

- Manage tender event schedule and contract awards

- Oversee change order process and third-party QS certification

- Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow, and budget updates

Construction Management

- Lead site logistics and execution strategy in a running hotel

- Coordinate design execution across consultants, vendors, and contractors

- Monitor contractor progress and resource adequacy

- Implement quality control and safety procedures

- Manage execution changes and project handover to owner/operator

Candidate Profile

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / related field

- Minimum 12 years of experience in hospitality fitout projects

- Familiarity with international hotel brand standards (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, etc.)

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and documentation tools

- Detail-oriented with knowledge of finishing materials

- Exposure to LEED / IGBC / green building certification is a plus
