Head - Projects - Hospital Infrastructure

Job Title: Head - Projects (Group Level)

Role Purpose:

The Head - Projects will lead the planning, development and execution of hospital infrastructure projects across the Group. The role will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including feasibility, design coordination, regulatory approvals, construction, vendor and contractor management, project timelines, budgets and commissioning.

The incumbent will ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, regulatory compliance and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of hospital infrastructure and expansion projects across the Group.

- Oversee project design, construction, timelines, budgets, quality and commissioning.

- Manage architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and other project partners.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, safety and healthcare infrastructure requirements.

- Liaise with government authorities and relevant stakeholders for approvals and clearances.

- Monitor project progress, manage risks and resolve delays or execution challenges.

- Drive cost optimisation while ensuring quality and timely project delivery.

- Work closely with hospital leadership and operations teams to align projects with business and clinical requirements.

- Lead and manage the Group Projects team and provide regular updates to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

Education:

- BE / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

- MBA / PGDM in Project Management, Operations or related discipline preferred.

Experience:

- 15 - 20 years of overall experience in project management and execution.

- Significant experience in hospital / healthcare infrastructure projects is essential.

- Experience managing large-scale, multi-location projects for a leading hospital chain or healthcare organisation.

- Strong exposure to hospital construction, expansion, renovation and infrastructure development.

- Experience in managing regulatory approvals, statutory compliance and government authorities.

- Strong experience in managing architects, consultants, contractors and vendors.
