- The Projects & Maintenance Head will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering all QSR outlet and base kitchen projects within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
- The role also includes overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure smooth restaurant operations across locations.
Key Resposibilities:
1. Projects Management
- Plan, design, and execute new outlet rollouts, base kitchens, offices and renovation projects in line with business expansion plans.
- Liaise with architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors for project execution.
- Ensure adherence to budget, quality standards, safety regulations, and timelines.
- Oversee procurement of equipment, materials, and furnishings as per specifications.
- Standardize outlet design, layouts, and technical specifications for scalability.
Maintenance Management:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment,
- HVAC, electricals, DG sets, and other assets.
- Ensure minimal downtime by coordinating timely repairs and servicing across outlets.
- Maintain an updated database of assets, warranties, and AMC contracts.
- Monitor utility consumption (water, electricity, gas) and drive energy-saving initiatives.
Team & Vendor Management:
- Lead and guide a team of project engineers, site supervisors, and maintenance staff.
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendors/contractors for projects and maintenance services.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to SLAs.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to building codes, fire safety, and environmental norms.
- Implement safety protocols at sites and during equipment handling.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Support business expansion by providing feasibility studies and cost estimates for new outlets.
- Drive technology-enabled solutions such as CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) or
- IoT for sm Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- Experience: 15-20 years of experience in Projects & Maintenance, with at least 5 years in leadership roles (QSR, FMCG, retail, or hospitality preferred).
