Position - Head of Projects

Experience - 12-18 Years

Location - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Execution :

- Lead end-to-end project execution from project kick-off to commissioning and handover.

- Develop project timelines, resource plans, budgets, and execution strategies.

- Monitor project progress against milestones and take corrective actions when required.

- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.

Stakeholder Management :

- Coordinate with internal teams including Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and O&M.

- Manage external stakeholders such as EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, DISCOMs, government authorities, and clients.

- Conduct regular project review meetings with leadership and stakeholders.

Contract & Commercial Management :

- Review EPC contracts, vendor agreements, and project commercial terms.

- Track project budgets, cash flow, invoicing, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Manage variation orders, claims, and risk mitigation strategies.

Regulatory & Compliance :

- Ensure statutory approvals, permits, land clearances, grid approvals, and regulatory compliance.

- Monitor adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.

Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor project managers, site engineers, and project teams.

- Build high-performance project teams and drive accountability.

Risk Management :

- Identify project risks related to timelines, commercials, technical execution, and regulatory matters.

- Develop mitigation plans and escalation mechanisms.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.

- MBA/PGDM in Project Management or Operations is preferred.

Experience :

- 12-18+ years of experience in renewable energy / solar / infrastructure projects.

- Minimum 5+ years in leadership role managing utility-scale solar or IPP projects.

- Strong experience in project lifecycle management, grid connectivity, land, permits, and commissioning.
