Role Overview:

As the Project Execution Head & Management - Infra Business (Road/Highway/WTP), you will be at the helm of driving successful project delivery for our infrastructure projects across the Road/Highway and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) sectors.


Your day-to-day will involve overseeing project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and finance, as well as external stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies. Your leadership will directly impact the successful completion of critical infrastructure projects, contributing to improved connectivity, water resource management, and overall economic development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the overall project execution strategy for Road/Highway and WTP projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.

- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient project delivery.

- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment to achieve project milestones.

- Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.

- Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and timely resolution of any concerns to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control procedures to guarantee project integrity and minimize environmental impact.

- Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery to support project schedules.

- Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoice processing, to maintain financial accountability and transparency.

- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, providing insights into project performance, risks, and opportunities to facilitate informed decision-making.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in project management principles and methodologies, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control, enabling effective project delivery.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment to achieve project goals.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, facilitating effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling proactive identification and resolution of project risks and issues.

- Deep understanding of the infrastructure sector, specifically Road/Highway and WTP projects, including technical aspects, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

- Ability to manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoice processing, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil) is required; a Master's degree in Project Management or a related field is preferred.

- Adaptability to work on-site in Kolkata, with potential for travel to project locations as needed.
