Job Description - Head of Programme (HoP):

CTC: Up to 18 LPA

Working: 5 Days a Week

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Programme (HoP) to lead and manage academic programmes, ensuring high-quality teaching, compliance, and an excellent student experience. The role involves academic leadership, faculty management, and programme delivery aligned with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage Programme Leaders, Lecturers, and academic staff

- Drive faculty performance, appraisals, and development plans

- Ensure effective staffing and workload allocation

Teaching, Learning & Assessment:

- Ensure high-quality teaching and learning delivery

- Oversee curriculum, assessments, and internal verification processes

- Maintain compliance with academic regulations and standards

- Conduct academic reviews, meetings, and assessment boards

Student Experience:

- Oversee student induction, engagement, and support

- Monitor attendance, performance, and progression

- Address escalated student concerns effectively

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure programme compliance with regulatory standards

- Manage annual monitoring, audits, and programme reviews

- Drive continuous improvement in student outcomes and satisfaction

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with internal teams (admissions, marketing, operations)

- Liaise with external academic and regulatory bodies

- Build strong academic and industry partnerships

Research & Development:

- Promote research and scholarly activities among faculty

- Integrate research insights into teaching practices

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential:

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in academic programme management / teaching

- Masters degree in relevant discipline

- Strong experience in curriculum development and quality assurance

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

- PhD or pursuing

- Experience in research/publications

- Exposure to international/UK education frameworks
