Note: This role will be based at Alwar, Rajasthan at Plant . Responsible for managing the entire production & operation . second in line reporting to Factory head ...

Role & Responsibility :

1. Production Planning & Control

- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with sales and dispatch targets.

- Monitor production KPIs (output, efficiency, rejection rate, downtime, etc.).

- Optimize machine utilization and manpower deployment.

2. Process Management

- Supervise operations in body preparation, glazing, firing, pressing, molding, and finishing sections.

- Ensure adherence to process parameters for consistent product quality.

- Coordinate with R&D/Quality for process improvements and trials.

3. Quality Assurance

- Maintain quality standards as per company and customer specifications.

- Analyze defects, rejection trends, and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

- Support continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing).

4. Maintenance Coordination

- Work closely with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.

- Ensure minimal downtime and machine reliability

5. People Management

- Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors and operators.

- Plan shift rosters and ensure discipline and safety compliance.

- Conduct skill enhancement and performance reviews.

6. Cost & Productivity Management

- Control production costs by reducing wastage, optimizing raw material, and improving yield.

- Monitor energy consumption and drive cost-saving initiatives.

7. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental norms.

- Promote safe work practices and ensure statutory compliance under Factory Act.

8. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain production reports, downtime analysis, and KPI dashboards.

- Submit MIS reports to management with improvement action plans.

Key Skill

- Candidate must have Good Hold on process adherence & be Process process-oriented person.

- Have Systematic problem-solving skills

- Strong People management skills & Team management Skill.

- Must be a Mechanical Engineering or / Production & Industrial Engineering Background.

- Having Experience of Gemba / Shop Floor Management.

- Knowledge of SAP Production, Basic Excel & Have good Communication Skills.

- Able to learn New Production Process (Quick Learner).

- Familiar with Ms. Operating windows

- Knowledge of SAP Planning Skills

- Leadership skills, Interpersonal Skills, Co-ordination Skills

Experience : 15 - 20 Years of Experience in ceramic / Sanitary ware

Qualification : B.Tech / Diploma in Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical, or Production Engineering
