Head - Production - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead overall plant and production operations to achieve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

- Develop and execute production strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Own plant P&L, operational budgets, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, continuous improvement, and quality excellence.

- Optimize production capacity, manpower utilization, processes, and equipment efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to production schedules and achieve on-time delivery targets.

- Drive improvements across quality, productivity, cost, and operational efficiency.

- Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and EHS teams.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Lead manufacturing transformation and process improvement initiatives.

- Establish and monitor key production KPIs and operational dashboards.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing standards.

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing production and plant management teams.

- Present operational performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior management.

Required Candidate Profile:

- 15-20 years of experience in manufacturing/production operations.

- Proven experience leading large-scale plant or production operations.

- Strong exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Quality Management.

- Experience managing P&L, budgets, manpower, productivity, and operational KPIs.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and EHS.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

- Candidates from manufacturing, engineering, industrial equipment, automotive, heavy engineering, or similar sectors would be preferred.
