Head - Production - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end plant production operations and shift planning.

- Drive production efficiency, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.

- Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Oversee manpower planning, productivity improvement, and workforce management.

- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

- Monitor production KPIs and optimize cost, efficiency, and throughput.

- Collaborate with planning, quality, maintenance, procurement, and supply chain teams.

- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Drive operational excellence and support business growth through process optimization.

Required Skills:

- 15-20 years of experience in Production or Manufacturing Operations.

- Strong expertise in:

1. Plant Production Operations

2. Production Planning & Shift Management

3. Lean Manufacturing

4. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

5. Productivity Improvement

6. Quality Management

7. Manpower Management

8. Manufacturing Operations

- Experience in Heat Exchangers, Process Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Fluid Handling, Heavy Engineering, Fabrication, Machining, or Assembly Manufacturing.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in large-scale manufacturing or heavy engineering environments.

- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

- MBA/PGDM or equivalent management qualification is an added advantage.
