Head - Production - Fans Business

Description:

- An opportunity to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for the fans category in a fast-scaling consumer electricals organization, driving production planning, cost optimization, quality excellence, new product industrialization and high-volume operational efficiency to support rapid national growth.

- Lead end-to-end production operations for the Fans category across manufacturing units.

- Develop and execute monthly and annual production plans aligned with sales forecasts.

- Drive cost efficiency through process improvements, automation, and vendor optimisation.

- Oversee quality systems, ensuring compliance with BIS, safety, and internal quality standards.

- Partner with R&D and NPD teams for industrialisation of new fan models (ceiling, BLDC, and premium ranges).

- Improve OEE, throughput, material efficiency, and reduce production downtime.

- Manage plant workforce, shift planning, skill development, and safety processes.

- Build strong vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement of components (motors, blades, PCBs, housings).

- Monitor and improve key KPIs including productivity, rejection percentage, yield, cost per unit, and turnaround times.

- Ensure statutory compliance, audits, and adherence to manufacturing SOPs.
