BE/Btech. 20-23 years of experience in a top tier software company in Product Management/Business Analysis with a focus on building Core Banking and financial Applications. Must have contributed to product roadmaps, creation of stories, planning or releases and market study to conceptualize and build products for large financial institutions.. Subject matter expert in building and/or implementing Core Banking System. Expert level knowledge of Core or central Banking function with a good understanding of front, middle and back-office applications.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Product Management to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Core Banking and Financial Applications for large financial institutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in core/central banking systems, strong leadership in product management, and a proven track record of delivering scalable, enterprise-grade financial products in top-tier software organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Core Banking and related financial applications.

- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from market research and ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, UX, and QA teams to translate business needs into product requirements, epics, and user stories.

- Drive release planning, prioritization, and execution, ensuring timely delivery aligned with business objectives.

- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in core banking and financial systems.

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Core Banking Systems, advising internal teams and external clients on best practices and implementation approaches.

- Ensure products comply with regulatory, security, and risk standards applicable to global banking environments.

- Oversee integration of front-office, middle-office, and back-office systems to deliver seamless end-to-end banking solutions.

- Engage with large financial institutions, partners, and vendors to gather feedback and align product direction with customer needs.

- Mentor and lead a team of Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners, fostering a high-performance product culture.

Key Skills & Expertise:

- 15-23 years of experience in Product Management / Business Analysis within a top-tier software or product organization.

- Strong hands-on experience in building and/or implementing Core Banking Systems (CBS).

- Expert-level knowledge of core/central banking functions, including:

Accounts, Deposits, Loans, Payments

Treasury, Trade Finance, and Compliance

Customer Information File (CIF) and GL systems

- Deep understanding of front-office, middle-office, and back-office banking applications and their integration.

- Product roadmaps and strategy

- Story creation, backlog management, and release planning

- Agile / SAFe / Scrum product delivery models

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-first mindset.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.

- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.

- Experience working with large banks or financial institutions across global markets is a strong advantage.
