Role Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Head of Product to take complete ownership of our flagship HR Technology SaaS platform. This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from strategic vision and roadmap design to development and go-to-market.
You will be the central force defining -what- we build and -why-, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to create a market-differentiating product. You will lead and mentor our product and technology-adjacent teams in India and globally, working in lockstep with developers, testers, support, and client teams to translate vision into a world-class reality.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy: Define, articulate, and own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
AI Integration: Champion the integration of AI and Machine Learning across the product suite (e.g., talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, HR analytics) to drive innovation and business value.
End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation, user research, and requirements gathering to prioritization, design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch iteration.
Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a distributed team of product managers, designers, and analysts, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key interface between technical and non-technical teams. Work intimately with engineering leads, developers, QA/testers, customer support, and client success teams to ensure a smooth and efficient development pipeline.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate hypotheses, and ensure the roadmap is aligned with market needs and business objectives.
Technical Acumen: Maintain a "hands-on" approach, diving deep into technical discussions, understanding the product architecture, and collaborating with engineers on feasibility and design trade-offs.
Market Intelligence: Act as the internal expert on the HRTech landscape, competitor products, and emerging technology trends to ensure our product remains competitive and innovative.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 8-12 years of progressive experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching and scaling successful B2B SaaS products.
Education: Equivalent postgraduate degree, preferably from a premium B-school (e.g., IIM, IIT, ISB, FMS, XLRI, SPJIMR).
Leadership: Demonstrated experience building, managing, and leading high-performing, globally distributed product teams.
Technical Fluency: Strong technical background or "hands-on" ability to understand complex system architecture, data models, and APIs. You must be comfortable and credible in deep-dive discussions with engineers.
SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, metrics, and agile development methodologies.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive, self-starter attitude. You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and have a strong bias for action.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and manage senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantages)
- Direct experience in the HR Technology (HRTech) or Human Capital Management (HCM) domain.
- Proven experience in successfully conceptualizing and launching AI/ML-driven product features.
- Prior experience in an early-stage, venture-backed startup.
Compensation & Opportunity:
This is a foundational leadership role critical to our company's success. We are looking for a true partner who is invested in our long-term vision.
Compensation Structure: This role will be primarily equity-based for the first six (6) months from the date of appointment.
Salary: A competitive, market-aligned salary package will be activated upon the successful execution and closure of our seed funding round, as mutually discussed and agreed upon.
