Sector Preference: D2C, Quick Commerce, E-commerce
Current CTC- Above 35 to 55 LPA
Expected CTC- max as 65LPA.
About the Role:
We are looking for a visionary Head of Product Design who will own and drive the end-to-end design vision, strategy, and execution across our digital ecosystem. As an early design leader in a fast-scaling Series A startup, you will shape the product experience, build a world-class design team, and set the foundation for scalable, customer-centric design practices.
You will be instrumental in defining how our users interact with our products from discovery to purchase ensuring every experience feels intuitive, delightful, and consistent with our brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Own the overall product design strategy from UX research to UI design, ensuring a seamless, cohesive experience across web and app.
- Hands-on Execution: Lead by example with strong hands-on UI/UX design skills, translating insights into pixel-perfect designs and prototypes.
- User-Centric Design: Partner with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to translate customer needs and business goals into elegant, functional design solutions.
- Creative Direction: Shape and maintain the brands visual identity across digital touchpoints, ensuring design excellence and creative consistency.
- Team Building: Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing product design team, establishing design processes, standards, and a culture of innovation.
- Design Systems: Create and scale a unified design system to support rapid product growth while maintaining quality and brand alignment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with founders and leadership to influence product direction and strategy from a design and user-experience lens.
- Data + Empathy: Balance user insights, analytics, and intuition to make design decisions that drive engagement and conversion.
Requirements:
- 8 - 12 years of professional experience in Product Design / UI-UX, ideally with experience in consumer internet, e-commerce, or D2C businesses.
- Proven track record of designing and shipping consumer-facing digital products at scale.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, design process, and measurable business impact.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.) and familiarity with motion design or prototyping tools.
- Experience building and mentoring design teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills able to influence product and tech decisions through design thinking.
- A builders mindset willing to roll up sleeves and create from scratch while establishing scalable systems for growth.
Good to Have:
- Experience in quick commerce, grocery, or lifestyle D2C categories.
- Exposure to A/B testing, design analytics, or conversion optimization.
- Passion for blending business, technology, and design to craft meaningful user experiences.
