Job Description:
The Head of Product is the strategic and operational leader driving Impacteers' product vision, innovation, and business outcomes across B2C and B2B verticals.
You will own the complete product lifecycle - from concept to launch, adoption, and monetization - while ensuring platform compliance, scalability, and user trust.
This is a high-impact leadership role that combines product excellence, stakeholder alignment, and revenue accountability, working closely with the Head of Marketing, Growth Manager, and Product Marketing Lead as the core Growth, GTM & Revenue leaders for Impacteers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy, Vision & Leadership
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap aligned with Impacteers' mission, user needs, and revenue objectives.
- Oversee both B2C (Upskilling, Mentorship, Jobs, Events & Competitions, Career Tools) and B2B (Recruitment, Job Fairs, Partnerships, Employer Solutions) product ecosystems.
- Design and implement platform-level business and revenue models - subscriptions, freemium, marketplace, and partner monetization.
- Build and lead multiple product PODs (Mentorship, Upskilling, Jobs, Events, etc.), ensuring focus, accountability, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Founders, CXOs, and senior leadership on strategic priorities and innovation tracks.
2. Product Development & Execution
- Translate product vision into structured roadmaps, sprints, and release cycles.
- Drive end-to-end development from requirements to design, engineering, QA, and launch.
- Ensure high-quality releases through strong backlog management, documentation, bug/tickets and QA oversight.
- Maintain product delivery velocity and cross-team synchronization across PODs.
3. Market, User & Competitor Research
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging trends, technology shifts, and product gaps.
- Drive user research and usability studies to understand user needs and behavioral insights.
- Lead A/B testing, feature validation, and retention experiments to optimize product experience.
- Integrate findings into roadmap prioritization and growth hypotheses.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and user research teams to develop data driven strategy.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Alignment
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Marketing, and Growth teams for GTM planning, messaging, and execution.
- Ensure seamless coordination for product launches, campaigns, and lifecycle engagement.
- Align product decisions with demand generation, retention, and revenue objectives.
- Represent Product in all strategic go-to-market and user engagement forums.
5. Platform Compliance, Data Protection & Documentation
- Oversee data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance (DPDP, GDPR, IT Act, platform-level security).
- Ensure transparent documentation standards across releases, sprints, and cross-team handoffs.
- Maintain data integrity across user, partner, and enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Legal teams to establish audit-ready compliance frameworks.
6. Business & Revenue Model Ownership
- Define, validate, and scale B2C and B2B platform monetization models.
- Track product-led revenue streams - upskilling enrollments, partnerships, event participation, and recruiter subscriptions.
- Partner with finance and strategy teams to evaluate pricing, LTV, and growth potential.
- Monitor profitability metrics and ROI across product lines.
7. Data, Dashboards & Analytics
- Develop internal dashboards to track team KPIs, project progress, and delivery efficiency.
- Build external dashboards for platform metrics - user activity, retention, revenue, and engagement.
- Integrate product analytics across GA4, CleverTap, MoEngage, Metabase, or similar tools for real-time insights.
- Use data-driven intelligence for prioritization, growth experiments, and ROI optimization.
8. Product Experience & Design Excellence
- Champion a user-first design philosophy across all product surfaces.
- Partner with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive, consistent, and delightful experiences.
- Track UX KPIs: NPS, funnel completion, drop-off rates, and repeat engagement.
9. Team, Stakeholder & POD Management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional product teams (PMs, analysts, designers, developers).
- Drive accountability, communication, and collaboration across departments.
- Align stakeholders through structured updates, reviews, and OKR cycles.
- Foster a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.
10. Leadership, Culture & Innovation
- Build a high-performing product organization rooted in innovation and accountability.
- Collaborate directly with the Head of Marketing, Growth Manager, and Product Marketing Lead to drive growth, engagement, retention, and revenue enablement.
- Foster a data-driven, experimental, and insight-oriented culture across the Product division.
- Represent the product function at top-management and strategic forums.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Product Success: Feature adoption, MAU/DAU growth, retention rate, NPS.
- Execution Velocity: Sprint throughput, release frequency, defect ratio.
- Revenue Impact: Conversion uplift, CAC/LTV improvement, product-led revenue.
- User Research & Market Intelligence: Frequency and actionable outcomes.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Cross-team delivery alignment, GTM readiness.
- Compliance & Documentation: Audit completion, data integrity, SLA adherence.
- Operational Metrics: Internal dashboard accuracy, POD productivity, uptime.
Qualifications & Preferences:
- 8-14 years of experience in Product Management or Product Leadership in EdTech, SaaS, or CareerTech.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional product teams and multi-POD environments.
- Deep understanding of B2B & B2C product business models, user journeys, and monetization.
- Strong command of market research, competitor analysis, user testing, and A/B experimentation.
- Experience with analytics & collaboration tools (Jira, Trello, Notion, GA4, CleverTap, MoEngage, Metabase, MS Clarity).
- Solid grounding in data compliance, documentation standards, and security frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with operational discipline and a bias for execution.
