Role Overview

Responsible for leading the procurement function across multiple large-scale manufacturing plants, driving sourcing strategy, supplier management, cost optimization, and operational excellence. The role demands a strategic leader with deep experience in procurement for discrete or engineering goods manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end procurement operations across multiple plants.

- Develop and execute strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost-saving initiatives.

- Manage supplier performance, contracts, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team.

- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, governance, and business policies.

- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Quality, and Legal for seamless execution.

Key Requirements

- 20+ years in large-scale manufacturing procurement (engineering/discrete industries).

- Strong skills in sourcing, cost modelling, negotiation, and supplier development.

- Proven leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

- Knowledge of raw materials like metals or packaging is an advantage.

- Should have worked on digitization / p2p / procurement transformation.
