Role Overview:

Hiring a Procurement Head to lead the end-to-end procurement and stores function at our Kashipur manufacturing site. You will have sourcing strategy, CAPEX and OPEX procurement, vendor development and cost optimization. You will lead a team of at least two Managers and work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance and Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead procurement of CAPEX items, engineering spares, chemicals, raw materials and MRO.

- Manage CAPEX procurement and projects in the 100 - 250 Cr range or above, from vendor selection to commercial closure.

- Drive strategic sourcing, vendor development and vendor rationalization to build a reliable, competitive supplier base.

- Set up and manage Annual Rate Contracts (ARC) and long-term contracts to secure supply and price stability.

- Own procurement budgeting, financial evaluation of bids, negotiation and cost-optimization initiatives.

- Oversee stores and inventory management, including stock levels, spares planning and working-capital control.

- Run procurement operations on SAP (MM / Procurement modules) with strong process discipline and compliance.

- Partner with plant, maintenance, projects and finance teams to align procurement with production and project timelines.

- Lead, mentor and develop the procurement team, with clear KPIs and succession depth.

Must-Have Requirements:

- 20+ years of Procurement / Supply Chain experience in process manufacturing, preferably Pulp & Paper.

- Currently at AGM / DGM level or above, with at least 2 Managers as direct reports.

- Hands-on experience across CAPEX, OPEX, procurement and stores.

- Proven procurement of CAPEX, engineering spares, chemicals, raw materials and MRO items.

- Experience handling CAPEX procurement or projects worth 100 - 250 Cr or above.

- Strong track record in strategic sourcing, vendor development, ARC, long-term contracts and cost optimization.

- Hands-on working knowledge of SAP Procurement / MM.

- Experience in procurement budgeting, financial evaluation, negotiation and stakeholder management.

- Strong leadership of procurement teams and large-scale procurement operations.

- Willingness to relocate to Kashipur and work from site, 6 days a week.
