Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to lead end-to-end operations for our client based in Punjab. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the entire value chain, from raw material sourcing to final distribution, ensuring seamless integration between procurement, logistics, and supply planning. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to optimize cost structures, mitigate supply risks, and implement robust processes that enhance operational efficiency and bottom-line performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to secure high-quality materials at competitive costs, ensuring the organization maintains a strong market advantage.

- Direct end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting and supply planning, to align inventory levels with fluctuating market demand and production schedules.

- Negotiate high-value contracts with global and domestic vendors to establish long-term partnerships that prioritize reliability, quality, and cost-efficiency.

- Implement advanced digital supply chain tools and analytics to provide real-time visibility into logistics and inventory, enabling data-driven decision-making.

- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance across all supply chain touchpoints.

- Manage risk mitigation frameworks to proactively address supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity in volatile market conditions.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, large-scale supply chain ecosystems with a proven track record of optimizing procurement spend and operational throughput.

- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management abilities, with a history of building sustainable, high-performance supplier relationships.

- Strong analytical acumen to interpret complex data sets for demand planning, inventory optimization, and cost-benefit analysis.

- Proven leadership capability to manage large, diverse teams and influence senior stakeholders across the organization.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategic vision and operational requirements to board-level stakeholders.

- A postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field from a premier institute is highly preferred.

- Candidates must possess 15 - 25 years of relevant experience and demonstrate the flexibility to work on-site in Punjab to oversee regional operations effectively.
