About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head - Procurement & Administration to lead and oversee the procurement and administrative functions across all our entities in India. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving procurement excellence, optimizing vendor partnerships, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring effective administration management aligned with global standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing both IT and Non-IT procurement for a global organization, with strong stakeholder management capabilities and a proven track record of working within multinational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall Procurement and Administration function for all India entities.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives and global standards.
- Oversee end-to-end sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
- Manage both IT and Non-IT procurement categories, ensuring cost optimization, compliance, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with global procurement and business teams to drive standardization and best practices.
- Build and maintain effective governance, procurement policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Drive operational efficiencies, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead administration activities, ensuring smooth workplace operations and support services across locations.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across India and global business teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement and administration teams.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 14 - 17 years of relevant experience in Procurement and Administration leadership roles.
- Strong exposure to managing IT and Non-IT procurement in a global organization.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Exposure to working within a Global Capability Center (GCC) framework will be highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to drive transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Professional procurement certifications will be an advantage.
