Head - Procurement

Description:

The Head of Procurement will lead the organizations procurement strategy, ensuring cost efficiency, supply security, risk mitigation, and alignment with business goals. The role oversees strategic sourcing of raw materials, CAPEX procurement, supplier development, and digital transformation of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define procurement strategies, KPIs, and annual category plans.

- Lead sourcing initiatives for raw materials, CAPEX projects, and indirect categories.

- Drive cost optimization through total-cost-of-ownership and value engineering.

- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships locally and globally.

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ERP adoption, and e-procurement usage.

- Lead and develop the procurement team, presenting KPIs and updates to leadership.

- Champion sustainability, ESG initiatives, and compliance with regulatory obligations.

Profile Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain; MBA preferred.

- 20-25 years of procurement/sourcing experience in manufacturing preferably in Process Industry.

- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, contract management, and CAPEX procurement.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and global supply chain understanding.
