Role Overview:

As the Director of Private Equity Fund Operations, you will serve as the strategic anchor for the firms middle and back-office functions, ensuring the seamless execution of complex investment structures. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of fund administration, working closely with investment teams, external fund administrators, auditors, and regulatory bodies to maintain operational excellence.

This role is pivotal in safeguarding the integrity of financial reporting, optimizing capital call and distribution processes, and driving scalable operational frameworks that support the firms growth and investor transparency. By bridging the gap between investment strategy and operational execution, you directly influence the firms reputation for reliability and its ability to deliver superior value to Limited Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the end-to-end fund administration process, including capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations, to ensure accurate and timely cash flow management for investors.

- Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards to provide stakeholders with transparent and reliable performance data.

- Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators and custodians, monitoring service level agreements to maintain high operational standards and cost efficiency.

- Lead the operational due diligence for new fund launches and complex deal structures, mitigating risk and ensuring all regulatory and tax requirements are met before closing.

- Collaborate with the finance and investment teams to streamline reporting workflows, implementing automated solutions that enhance data accuracy and reduce manual intervention.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors, facilitating smooth year-end audits and tax filing processes to protect the firms fiscal standing.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Private Equity fund structures, including waterfall calculations, side-pocket accounting, and multi-jurisdictional tax reporting.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing operations teams, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate intricate financial data to internal partners and external investors with clarity and confidence.

- Advanced proficiency in fund accounting software and ERP systems, coupled with the analytical rigor to troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating cross-functional dynamics in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
