- One of our client leading a IT services and manufacturer of desktop, laptop and tablet computers based in, UK. The company was founded about 40 years ago , it is a pioneer and leader in the Indian ICT industry. - Over the last 37 years, IT has played an integral role in helping clients succeed through many economic cycles It provides expertise and experience delivering governance services, transportation & traffic solutions, energy management solutions, surveillance and workforce management, broadcasting solutions as well as software services aligning technology with client businesses.

We are looking out for Senior Manager- Enterprise sales for our client office in Mumbai.

Position: Presales Head-IT Infra

Status: Full-time

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: CEO / COO / EVP Sales / BU Head (as per seniority/experience/revenue size)

Position Summary : Client is seeking a Head for IT Infrastructure & IT Services practice to perform the lead role.

- The Practice Manager / Leader will be responsible for the company's IT Services Practice. The role requires a very strong appreciation of various IT stacks including Servers, Networks, Security, Data center as well as SMAC.

- The Practice Leader will work with sales, delivery, operations and partners / vendors to address the business, operational and technical requirements of the customers.

- He / She is required to work and collaborate closely with peers across practices to create leading edge, innovative solutions for the customers which align technology with business.

- The ideal candidate is expected to be versatile who will handle practice development, pre-sales function, customer interactions, technical delivery ownership, willingness to learn emerging technologies and build industry leading solutions.

- This is a leadership role with the successful candidate comfortable working with customers technically and commercially to delivery high quality IT Services on time and on budget.

- The team once set up will have Solution Architects, Pre sales Consultants, IT engineers and Implementation Consultants across various technologies within the team and extended organization.

- This position requires exercising independent judgment to perform the responsibilities described herein.

- Should have good connect with OEM's.

Position Details & Responsibilities:

1. Own and execute plans to achieve order booking and revenue goals for the practice.

2. Define Road Map for Technology related to IT infrastructure and IT Services, defining strategy/ Process & Solution Offerings

3. Strategize on Technology areas under the practice; Identification and management of Key Alliances. This is a very crucial element cutting across the entire IT stack with specific focus on Server, Network, Data center, Cloud, Information Security and other IT infrastructure elements.

4. Responsibilities include but not limited to Assist in all phases of the sales, pre-sales, practice development and delivery processes. Support in identifying, pursuing, closing sales opportunities, including proposal creation and presentation is required.

5. Define & drive competence development for the practice working along with BU's, Delivery team, support team and HR.

6. Estimate the project/solution development effort and resource requirements to put together a competitive bid mindful of cash flow requirements.

7. Develop best practices for IT Practice and manage relationship with clients, vendor eco-systems and all the internal stakeholders

8. Strong collaborative approach and ability to work with all the stakeholders while adhering to tight deadlines in a highly dynamic environment. Especially important is the requirement to work along with cross functional delivery teams, software practice team, supply chain and business units.

9. Represent the company in various Technical and customer forums on technology thought leadership.

10. Create service offering, Solutions and IP's through a mix of alliance relationships and at a later date own technologies.

11. Provides CMS management with regular updates; works with the CMS PMO to advance project management best practices, participates in regular reviews with leadership & PMO, serves as a critical advisor to set the direction for the implementation and professional services team, with a special emphasis on how and what we implement.

12. Project management ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution; will understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results.

13. CMS is a CMMI Level 5, ISO 27001, ISO20000 & BIS certified organisation. Maintaining and enhancing these certifications (though owned by other stakeholders) along with other certifications as necessary is an imperative. Relevant experience is a positive.

Key skills and experience:

1. Bachelors in an engineering or business discipline is a must.

2. 10-18 years experience in IT infrastructure or professional services will be an advantage.

3. At least 5-10 years in IT infrastructure practice or alliances in IT with at least 3-5 being in a customer facing sales/alliances role is required.

Key behavioral attributes

1. Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills

2. Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure

3. Experience working with key stakeholders at senior levels. Demonstrable relationships with IT vendors is a plus.

4. Strong Leadership, professional attitude - and leading by example

5. Passionate about IT and good understanding of emerging IT technologies is important

6. Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment

7. Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail

8. Credible, confident and articulate, with excellent communication and presentation skills and the gravitas to deliver ideas clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders

9. Personable and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for excellence
