Role Overview:

The Head - Precast Operations will serve as the strategic leader for the company's precast manufacturing and implementation division based in Bangalore. In this capacity, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of precast operations, from factory production and supply chain logistics to on-site installation and project delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership, project directors, and external stakeholders to ensure that precast solutions are delivered within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal in driving the company's transition toward industrialized construction, directly impacting the profitability and scalability of our major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the full P&L of the precast division, ensuring financial targets are met through rigorous cost control and revenue optimization.

- Lead strategic planning initiatives to scale production capacity and integrate cutting-edge precast technology into the company's broader construction portfolio.

- Manage capital budgeting for plant machinery, facility upgrades, and infrastructure investments to ensure the division remains competitive and technologically advanced.

- Oversee end-to-end project management, coordinating between manufacturing units and site teams to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.

- Drive process excellence by implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement frameworks to reduce wastage and enhance output quality.

- Maintain stringent quality assurance protocols across all production stages to ensure compliance with national and international construction standards.

- Mentor and lead large, cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and professional development.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale manufacturing operations within the construction or precast industry, with a proven track record of handling complex P&L responsibilities.

- Strong command over modern precast technologies, including automated production lines, structural design optimization, and advanced casting techniques.

- Exceptional strategic planning abilities, with the capacity to align operational output with the long-term growth objectives of the organization.

- Proven capability in capital budgeting and financial forecasting, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and high return on investment for plant operations.

- Advanced interpersonal skills to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, including government bodies, consultants, and internal project teams.

- Ability to lead and inspire diverse teams, promoting a safety-first culture and operational discipline in a high-pressure, on-site environment.

- Educational background in Civil Engineering or a related field, preferably supplemented by a management degree from a premier institute.

- Willingness to be based in Bangalore and provide hands-on leadership to factory and site operations as required by project demands.
