Position Title:

Head Precast Division:

Job Purpose:

The Head of Precast Division will be responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, and profitability (P&L) of the precast concrete business unit. The role involves managing business development, production, project delivery, cost control, and client relationships to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence of the precast division.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Business Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead and manage the entire precast division as an independent profit center.

- Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow the precast business.

- Identify new market opportunities in infrastructure, industrial, and commercial construction sectors.

- Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.

B. Profit & Loss (P&L) Management:

- Take full ownership of division P&L including revenue, cost, margins, and profitability.

- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.

- Ensure cost optimization across manufacturing, logistics, and installation operations.

- Track financial performance and implement corrective actions to improve margins.

C. Precast Manufacturing Operations:

- Oversee precast concrete production, plant operations, and capacity utilization.

- Ensure efficient management of production planning, inventory control, and quality standards.

- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce wastage.

- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality systems, and safety regulations.

D. Project Execution & Delivery:

- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of precast projects including design coordination, production, transportation, and erection.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client specifications.

- Coordinate closely with engineering, production, logistics, and site teams.

E. Business Development & Client Management:

- Develop strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and government clients.

- Lead tendering, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.

- Identify opportunities for large-scale precast supply and industrial projects.

- Expand the companys market share in precast construction solutions.

F. Commercial & Contract Management:

- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and risk management.

- Manage variation orders, claims, and commercial agreements with clients and subcontractors.

- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial terms.

G. Team Leadership & Organizational Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers, production managers, and commercial staff.

- Establish clear KPIs and performance management systems.

- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.

H. Quality, Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards in precast manufacturing and installation.

- Promote a strong safety culture across plant and project sites.

- Ensure compliance with local regulations, engineering codes, and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

- Masters Degree in Construction Management / Business Administration (MBA) preferred

- Professional certifications in project management or commercial management will be an advantage.

Experience:

- 20-25 years of experience in construction or precast concrete industry.

- Minimum 8-10 years in senior leadership roles managing precast manufacturing or large construction operations.

- Strong exposure to industrial, infrastructure, and large-scale construction projects.

- Experience managing large precast factories and project-based precast installations.
