Role Overview :

As the GM PPC & Logistics.

Functional Role :

1. Planning Raw Material in tune with quarterly rolling forecast from Sales & Marketing.

2. Create Monthly & Weekly Melting & Rolling plan.

3. Scheduling sequencing of loading on each equipment.

4. Computation of yields w.r.t. grade, heat, product and process.

5. Monitoring of consumption of raw material including Ferro Alloys in each heat.

6. Monitoring productivity for each product in each process.

7. Ensuring on time dispatch to Group and Non group customers as per the plan.

8. Ensure all outsourcing activities are carried out as per the plan.

9. Explore new vendors for outsourcing tasks such as melting and rolling machining as needed by the business to ensure cost effectiveness and on-time delivery.

10. Close co-ordination with Sales, Production, Purchase for production daily output.

11. Support staff members / business partners for achieving their daily, weekly targets.

12. Observing daily progress V/s plan, analysis and corrective actions.

13. Communicating to all concerned through telephone, email & monthly MIS.

14. Participation in daily review meeting & provide guidance to team.

15. Ensure monthly dispatch targets to achieve as per various combinations.

Business Related Role :

1. To prepare and achieve Business plan as per the organization targets with value realization

2. Line balancing of various units

3. Yield monitoring and analysis and reporting.

4. BFL / NG Fulfilling requirements as per Need of the customer.

5. Ensuring all outsourcing activities as per the plan.

6. FIFI & SAP Development for more order clarity and tracking system.

7. Value addition in PP module, FIFI as per the requirements

8. Support to achieve product costing in terms of dispatch schedule and execution (QCD)

9. Co-ordinate with quality for product continuity and clearance.

Monitoring & Tracking Activities :

1. Technological upgradation and alignment with the business as per customer expectations.

2. Monitoring and guiding all team members about the SOPs norms.

3. To ensure 100% compliance with legal & regulatory matters related to PPC and Dispatch

4. Ensure that IFR cost & deliveries are not exceeded.

5. Ensuring 5S and Safety measures are followed by all team members.

6. Goal setting and appraisals of staff, and their Learning & Growth.
