Role Overview

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing and executing the Policy Advocacy & Corporate Affairs strategy for the energy business. The incumbent will work closely with CXOs and business leaders to influence regulatory frameworks, resolve compliance issues, and build strong relationships with government and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement policy advocacy and corporate affairs strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Build and nurture relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.

- Drive advocacy initiatives with ministries (Power, Coal, Environment, Renewable Energy) and regulators (CEA, CERC, JERC).

- Conduct impact analysis of policy and regulatory changes, prepare position papers, and represent the company in key forums.

- Support PPA management to ensure timely realization of receivables from DISCOMs.

- Provide strategic insights to CXOs and Chairman's office for high-impact decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 20-25 years of experience in the power/energy sector with deep understanding of regulatory and policy frameworks.

- Proven track record in policy advocacy, government relations, and stakeholder engagement.

- Strong analytical, networking, and influencing skills; ability to work with lean teams and manage complex relationships.
