Role : Head - Plant Operations for a European MNC in Packaging Industry

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead end-to-end plant operations, drive operational excellence, and strengthen manufacturing efficiency across facility. Strong Experience in Injection Moulding Machines / Multi Cavity Mould / Plant Machine Maintenance / People skills is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in production management, process optimization, team leadership, quality systems, and lean manufacturing practices, along with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Location : Maharashtra, Pune

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead overall plant operations ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

- Drive strategic improvements across production, quality, maintenance, and labour utilization.

- Implement lean manufacturing initiatives and world-class manufacturing practices.

- Ensure smooth functioning of production moulding and post-moulding operations.

- Oversee production planning, machine & mould maintenance, and adherence to IMS standards.

- Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives to improve product and process quality.

- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, FSMS, CCP monitoring, and safety standards.

- Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

- Optimize production capacity, resource utilization, and operational flexibility while maintaining quality benchmarks.

- Mentor and develop plant managers, supervisors, and shop floor teams.

- Build a strong performance-driven culture while maintaining positive employee relations.

- Implement systems and processes to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and asset utilization.
