
Job Title: Head - Plant Industrial Relations (IR)
Experience: 20+ years in industrial relations, labor laws, and trade union management, preferably in a leadership role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage industrial relations strategies to achieve business objectives and maintain harmonious employee relations
- Develop and implement comprehensive IR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Negotiate and settle wage agreements, long-term settlements, and other critical agreements with trade unions and employee representatives
- Handle complex employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and industrial disputes
- Provide expert advice to management on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade unions, labor authorities, and other stakeholders
- Mentor and develop a team of IR professionals
Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully managing industrial relations in a large organization
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and drive business outcomes
Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Industrial Relations, HR, Law, or related field (Full time)
