Head - Plant HR/IR/ER
Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR activities: Manage all human resources activities within the glass manufacturing plant, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Develop HR policies: Create and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure a positive workplace culture and compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage employee benefits: Oversee employee benefits programs, compensation, and payroll processing.
- Handle grievances: Address employee grievances and conduct performance appraisals.
- Collaborate with management: Work closely with plant management to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ensure health and safety: Support health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage HR budget: Oversee HR budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of funds.
- Facilitate communication: Act as a liaison between employees and management, facilitating effective communication.
- Support organizational changes: Provide HR support during organizational changes, including onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews.
- Industrial Relations: Manage union relationships, handle collective bargaining, and ensure compliance with union contracts.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, manage disputes, and maintain positive employee relations.
