Key Responsibilities:


Planning & Logistics Operations

- Direct, manage, and optimize all resources connected to planning processes with the goal of achieving minimal total costs and high customer satisfaction.

- Oversee the design of information and data flows, including master data and planning-related logistics processes.

- Balance and coordinate conflicting interests among inventory management, material planning, production scheduling, sales planning, and demand forecasting.

- Ensure consistent application of global logistics standards and best practices across the plant.


Continuous Improvement & Performance:


- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and service levels.

- Collaborate with regional and global logistics teams to improve operational KPIs.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory turns, forecast accuracy, on-time production, and order fulfillment.

- Support implementation of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to optimize process performance.


Project Management:


- Lead and manage medium to high complexity logistics projects from both technical and organizational perspectives.

- Define, plan, and monitor project success in terms of time, budget, and quality.

- Manage internal and external resources, ensuring efficient capacity planning.

- Align all logistics projects with corporate and business process owners to ensure seamless integration.

- Negotiate logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers, and customers (e.g., JIT / JIS processes, turnaround times, packaging).

- Prepare business cases, execute pilot projects, and ensure successful rollouts.


Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration:


- Participate in inter-departmental workgroups and projects for SOP/EOP optimization, new product introduction, and process standardization.

- Work with procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure supply chain alignment.

- Contribute to global strategic projects, ensuring knowledge transfer and adoption of best practices.


Leadership & People Development:


- Lead and develop a team of planning and logistics professionals.

- Deploy employees according to qualifications and strengths, ensuring high performance and motivation.

- Participate in recruitment and performance management processes.

- Build capabilities through training, coaching, and continuous feedback.
