Head of Partnerships & BD

It is hiring for one of our portfolio companies building the AI operating layer for enterprises.The company focuses on deploying AI agents that execute real business workflows across sales, operations, finance, and customer support - not dashboards or copilots.

Role Overview:

You will own fundraising, enterprise partnerships and business development end-to-end from sourcing opportunities to closing deals and building long-term relationships. We are looking for someone who already has strong networks across startups, enterprises, or tech ecosystems, and can open doors, build trust, and convert conversations into high-value partnerships and revenue.

What You'll Do:

- Own end-to-end BD & partnerships pipeline

- Identify and close enterprise clients and strategic partners

- Leverage your existing network to unlock high-value opportunities

- Build relationships with founders, CXOs, and decision-makers

- Pitch company's AI capabilities and convert business problems into deals

- Structure and negotiate partnerships, contracts, and pricing

- Work closely with product and engineering to align solutions with client needs

- Drive revenue growth and repeat business through strong account management

- Drive outbound and inbound deal flow through structured BD e- orts

- Build and refine BD playbook, outreach strategies, and conversion funnels

- Identify new markets, use cases, and partnership opportunities

- Drive repeat business and long-term account expansion

- Represent the company in ecosystem events, founder networks, and industry conversation

- Support strategic initiatives, including investor conversation and ecosystem partnerships where relevant

What We're Looking For:

Requirements

- 5-8+ years in Business Development, Partnerships, or Enterprise Sales

- Proven track record of closing high-value deals

- Experience working with startups, SaaS, AI, or enterprise tech companies

- MBA or Master's degree from a top-tier institue ( IIM, ISB, FMS Delhi, XLRI or equivalent)

Must Have:

- Strong existing network (founders, operators, enterprise decision-makers)

- Ability to source and close deals independently

- Experience in enterprise sales cycles (pitch - negotiation - closure)

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Ability to understand technical products and position them effectively

- Background working with early-stage startups or fast-growing companies

- Strong presence on LinkedIn / ecosystem networks

Compensation:
