Head of Operations Leading Warehousing Company (Agri Commodities)

As the company enters its next phase of rapid expansion, it is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead its operations across Punjab. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, build a strong career, and contribute to a critical sector of national importance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee operations across 10 warehouse sites in Punjab, managing a workforce of 650+ through Site Managers.

- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with optimum resource utilization, cost efficiency, and timely MIS reporting.

- Maintain strong working relationships with senior officials of FCI and PUNGRAIN to align storage requirements and ensure timely dispatches.

- Ensure timely collection of rent from FCI or its nodal agencies without deductions.

- Maintain accurate records for compliance with FCI tenders and ensure storage losses remain within prescribed norms.

- Conduct regular warehouse inspections with a focus on operational and financial controls.

- Oversee procurement of supplies (including chemicals and accessories) for scientific grain storage, ensuring adherence to re-order levels and economic order quantities.

- Represent the company in interactions with government bodies.

- Track and update management on industry developments, including SILO-based storage systems, and prepare tenders (conventional and SILO).

Candidate Profile:

- 10-15 years of proven experience in warehousing operations, with strong exposure to agricultural commodities.

- High energy, self-driven, with strong ownership and accountability.

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage multi-site operations and influence across functions.

- Strong planning and execution balance; willing to roll up sleeves when needed.
