About the Role:

Varrchasva Energy is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head - Operations to lead and manage the company's overall operations. The role will involve end-to-end responsibility for operational planning, project execution, site management, resource allocation, quality, cost control, client coordination and timely project delivery across locations.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, project sites, vendors, contractors and clients while maintaining operational efficiency, quality standards and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take complete ownership of the company's overall operations, ensuring efficient execution of projects and achievement of business objectives.

- Plan, manage and monitor solar EPC projects from project initiation through execution, commissioning and handover.

- Oversee day-to-day operations across project sites and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards.

- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, vendors, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

- Monitor project progress, identify operational challenges and implement timely corrective measures.

- Manage manpower planning, resource allocation, material availability and deployment of teams across locations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, statutory requirements, technical specifications and company policies.

- Monitor operational costs, productivity, project performance and profitability, and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Manage client relationships, address operational escalations and ensure timely resolution of project-related issues.

- Establish operational processes, reporting mechanisms, performance metrics and review systems to improve accountability.

- Lead, mentor and develop operations and project teams to build a performance-driven work culture.

- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate measures to minimise delays, cost overruns and execution challenges.

- Travel extensively to project sites and client locations for operational reviews, project monitoring and issue resolution.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical or a related discipline.

- Significant experience in operations management, preferably within the solar energy, renewable energy, power or EPC industry.

- Strong understanding of end-to-end project execution, site operations, resource management, quality and safety.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, teams and stakeholders across different geographical locations.

- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving and client management skills.

- Ability to work in a dynamic, project-driven environment and take ownership of operational outcomes.

- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 70% of the month.
