About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to take ownership of day-to-day business operations, process improvement, team performance, and execution across the organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing operations within an IT/technology company. Candidates who additionally have exposure to real estate, construction, property operations, or other multi-business environments will be considered favourably.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can translate management objectives into structured processes, measurable KPIs, and consistent execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Leadership:

- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth functioning of business units.

- Translate management objectives into actionable operational plans.

- Establish processes, SOPs, workflows, and accountability mechanisms.

- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure timely execution of business initiatives and projects.

2. IT / Technology Operations:

- Manage and streamline operations within an IT/technology-driven business environment.

- Coordinate with technology, sales, finance, HR, and other functional teams.

- Improve internal processes, productivity, reporting, and operational efficiency.

- Establish appropriate MIS and performance tracking mechanisms.

3. Team Management:

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.

- Define KRAs, KPIs, responsibilities, and performance expectations.

- Monitor team productivity and address operational bottlenecks.

- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution.

4. Business Process & Performance Management:

- Develop and implement SOPs and operational policies.

- Establish dashboards and regular management reporting.

- Identify process gaps and implement corrective measures.

- Drive automation and technology adoption wherever appropriate.

- Monitor costs, resources, timelines, and operational efficiency.

5. Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination:

- Work closely with promoters, senior management, and functional heads.

- Coordinate between multiple departments and business functions.

- Provide management with regular updates on operational performance, risks, and challenges.

- Take ownership of critical operational issues and drive them toward resolution.

6. Real Estate / Multi-Business Exposure:

- Candidates with exposure to real estate, construction, property management, hospitality, infrastructure, or other multi-business environments will have an advantage.

- Such exposure may include:

1. Vendor and contractor coordination

2. Project / site operations

3. Property-related operations

4. Customer / stakeholder coordination

5. Commercial and operational administration

Must-Have Skills:

- Proven experience in team management, process implementation, KPI management, and business operations.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to work closely with senior management and independently drive execution.

- Strong understanding of SOPs, MIS, reporting, process improvement, and operational controls.

- Fluent Tamil speaking and understanding is mandatory.

- Candidate must be currently based in Coimbatore or genuinely willing to relocate and build a long-term career in Coimbatore.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Real estate / construction / property operations experience.

- Experience managing multiple business units.

- Startup / entrepreneurial environment experience.

- Process automation / ERP implementation.

- Budgeting and cost-control exposure.

- Experience working directly with founders / promoters.

- MBA or equivalent management qualification.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
