This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building and scaling the operational backbone of our PMS and RIA businesses. You will be the operational champion ensuring process excellence, data accuracy, and leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency. This role demands extensive cross-functional collaboration with Regulators, Compliance, Product teams, Sales teams, and Fund managers to ensure seamless execution and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Operations Management: Own the complete operational lifecycle for Discretionary, Non-Discretionary, Advisory and RIA portfolios. Establish scalable processes from client onboarding through investment execution, performance monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Build and oversee operational teams to manage growing transaction volumes and client base.

- Process Excellence & Data Integrity: Champion a culture of process excellence with rigorous focus on data accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and operational consistency. Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that eliminate manual errors. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to maintain the highest operational standards.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain seamless coordination with key stakeholders: engage with Regulators on compliance matters and audit readiness; align with Compliance on policy adherence and regulatory filings; partner with the Product team on product launches and feature development; support Sales with accurate reporting and client documentation; and collaborate with Fund managers on investment execution and performance tracking.

- Technology & AI Integration: Identify and implement technology solutions and AI- driven tools to automate routine operations, improve efficiency, and enhance data management. Work with the Technology team to optimize systems for portfolio management, client reporting, and regulatory compliance. Leverage data analytics to drive operational insights and decision-making.

- Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all regulatory filings, client reports, and compliance submissions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEBI regulations, exchange requirements, and internal compliance policies. Lead internal and external audit processes and implement recommendations.

- Scalability & Growth: Build operational infrastructure capable of scaling with rapid business growth. Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively design solutions. Establish metrics and KPIs to track operational health and business growth.

- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ownership.

Key Qualifications:

Experience & Background

- 12-18 years of experience in wealth management, asset management, or investment operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing end-to-end operations.

- Proven experience managing Discretionary portfolios, Non-Discretionary investments, and/or Advisory solutions in India in a multi-asset class environment

- End to end knowledge of products and services offered in Wealth domain (MFs, Equity, Bonds, AIF, PMS, MLDs etc)

- Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, exchange compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting frameworks specific to PMS and RIA.

- Experience in a growing organization where you've scaled operations from small teams to larger structures and adapted processes during hypergrowth phases.

- Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements, automation initiatives, and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
