Head - India Operations | OSD & Injectables

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Head - India Operations to lead manufacturing operations across Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) and Injectable facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, strong exposure to USFDA-regulated facilities, and a proven track record of leading multiple manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites.

- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for OSD and Injectable facilities.

- Drive production, productivity, capacity utilisation, cost optimisation and operational excellence.

- Ensure strict compliance with USFDA, cGMP and other applicable regulatory requirements.

- Lead site heads and cross-functional teams to achieve business and operational objectives.

- Establish and monitor KPIs related to production, quality, safety, cost and delivery.

- Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and process optimisation initiatives.

- Ensure timely preparation and readiness of sites for regulatory inspections, including USFDA inspections.

- Collaborate closely with Quality, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS and other functions.

- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation and corrective actions.

- Develop leadership talent and build a strong performance-driven culture across sites.

Candidate Profile:

- 20+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/operations.

- Mandatory experience in both OSD and Injectable manufacturing.

- Proven experience as a senior operations leader handling multiple manufacturing sites.

- Strong exposure to USFDA-approved / USFDA-inspected pharmaceutical facilities is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of cGMP, regulatory compliance, quality systems and manufacturing excellence.

- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and senior site leadership.

- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and execution capability.

- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

- Experience in managing complex manufacturing operations and driving turnaround/improvement initiatives will be preferred.

Age & Experience:

Preferred age: Up to 54 years

Experience: 20+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing/operations, with significant multi-site leadership experience.
