Role Overview:

As the Head Of Operations, you will be at the helm of our operational activities in Ghana and potentially other international locations, ensuring seamless execution and driving continuous improvement across all functions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to optimize processes and deliver exceptional value to our customers. Your leadership will directly impact our efficiency, profitability, and overall market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals, enhancing efficiency and profitability.

- Oversee all aspects of procurement, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery of materials for production and projects.

- Manage logistics operations, optimizing transportation and warehousing to minimize costs and improve delivery times for customers.

- Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Drive process excellence initiatives, identifying and implementing best practices to streamline workflows and reduce waste across the organization.

- Implement and maintain robust risk management frameworks, mitigating potential disruptions and ensuring business continuity.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and celebrating successes.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure operational alignment with customer needs and market demands, maximizing customer satisfaction.

- Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring consistent quality and service.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of ethical conduct and corporate responsibility.

- Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management, including negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management.

- Deep understanding of process excellence methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma, and the ability to implement them effectively.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
