Head - Operations - Logistics Business

Role Summary:

- The Company is hiring for a position between Senior Manager / VP - Operations to lead global fruit sourcing, grower engagement, packhouse identification, and commercial negotiations across multiple countries.

- This is a high-impact role requiring strong on-ground execution, deal closure capability, and experience managing operations in foreign countries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, onboard, and manage growers and suppliers

- Lead procurement negotiations and close supply contracts (volume, pricing, payment terms)

- Monitor crop quality, harvest readiness, and seasonal supply risks

Packhouse & Operations Management:

- Identify and empanel packhouses for grading, packing, and storage

- Oversee packing operations to ensure quality, compliance, and minimal wastage

- Ensure adherence to company packing, food safety, and export standards

Commercial & Contractual Execution:

- Independently negotiate and close commercial and operational contracts

- Coordinate with legal and finance teams for contract finalization and risk mitigation

- Build long-term supplier and partner relationships

Logistics & Export Oversight:

- Coordinate with shipping and logistics partners for timely, cost-effective exports

- Supervise export documentation and compliance with international trade regulations

- Align overseas procurement with India and global market demand

Reporting & Coordination:

- Provide regular reporting on procurement volumes, costs, quality, and risks

- Advise senior management on sourcing strategy and geographic expansion

Experience: 15-20 years of experience in agri, or has worked in close coordination with farmers or has worked in tea gardens/ operations / supply chain
