Head - Operations - Drone Manufacturing

Role Overview:

The Head Operations will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational excellence in a fast-growing drone manufacturing company. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on expertise in scaling production, optimizing supply chains, ensuring compliance, and driving innovation in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operations Leadership: Lead and manage day-to-day operations across manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and logistics.

- Production Management: Ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes while meeting quality and safety standards.

- Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and maintain robust vendor relationships, streamline procurement, and manage inventory effectively.

- Process Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (DGCA, aerospace standards, ISO certifications) and workplace safety protocols.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, engineering, and sales teams to align operations with business goals.

- Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term growth strategies, capacity expansion, and operational scalability.

- Team Development: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

- 12-18 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or electronics.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale production units and supply chains.

- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.

- Familiarity with drone technology and aerospace compliance standards is a plus.
