Role Overview:
We are looking for a Head of Operations / Delivery Head to lead the operational strategy and ensure seamless, high-quality project delivery at scale, for a "for Profit", carbon finance climate action organisation. The organisation is expanding rapidly with 200+ projects globally, and this role is critical in building robust systems, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with evolving registry and certification standards. You will shape processes that enable efficiency, accountability, and impact across diverse geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery.
- Process Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of operational agility.
- Risk Management: Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and performance metrics to optimize efficiency.
- Leadership: Inspire and guide cross-functional teams toward delivery excellence.
- Strategic Support: Prepare presentations, documentation, and reports for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 12+ years in operations, with 6+ years in leadership roles.
- Carbon markets experience preferred.
- Proven ability to implement operational strategies and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
