Role : Head Operations (Broking)

A leading financial services and securities platform seeking a senior Operations leader to oversee end-to-end broking operations across trading, clearing, settlement, depository services, risk operations, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and client lifecycle management. The role will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, process automation, and stakeholder management while partnering closely with technology, compliance, finance, and business teams to support business growth and operational scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end broking operations covering trading, clearing, settlement, depository, reconciliation, and client servicing functions.

- Ensure compliance with Securities and Exchange Board of India, exchanges, depositories, and clearing corporation regulations.

- Oversee trade settlements, margin management, collateral operations, and operational risk controls.

- Drive operational transformation, automation, and process efficiency initiatives across back-office functions.

- Manage regulatory reporting, audits, inspections, and governance requirements.

- Partner with internal and external stakeholders including technology teams, vendors, clearing corporations, exchanges, and depositories.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- 10 - 17 years of experience in stock broking, capital markets operations, clearing, settlement, or depository functions.

- Strong leadership experience managing large-scale operational teams and critical market infrastructure processes.

- Deep understanding of clearing corporations, depository operations, reconciliations, collateral management, and regulatory reporting.

- Strong knowledge of Securities and Exchange Board of India regulations, exchange operations, and investor protection frameworks.

- Proven track record in operational excellence, controls, automation, and process transformation.

- Willingness to work from Mumbai or relocate as required.
