Role Overview:

The incumbent will provide strategic and operational leadership across Finance, HR, Administration, Legal, and Compliance, acting as a key business partner to the Leadership Team and the Board. This role will be responsible for building scalable processes, driving governance, and supporting growth initiatives including fundraising and investor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Governance Leadership:

- Partner with the CEO, Leadership Team, and Board on strategic planning, performance management, and governance.

- Lead organization-wide operations across Finance, HR, Administration, Legal, and Compliance.

- Own Board-level reporting, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

Financial Planning & Performance Management

- Own MIS, dashboards, KPIs, and periodic management and Board reporting.

- Drive annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and quarterly performance reviews.

- Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and risk management practices.

Operations & Process Excellence:

- Build and enhance processes across procurement, vendor management, and financial operations.

- Implement scalable systems and policies aligned with a high-growth SaaS environment.

- Ensure robust internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance frameworks.

Fundraising, Investor Relations & M&A Support:

- Support fundraising initiatives, investor relations, and engagement with PE / VC investors.

- Lead and coordinate financial, legal, and people-related due diligence for investments and M&A transactions.

- Act as a key liaison during funding rounds, audits, and investor reviews.

People & Team Leadership:

- Build, mentor, and lead a lean, high-performing operations team aligned to growth needs.

- Partner with HR on workforce planning, policies, and organizational development.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.

Experience:

- 10-20 years of experience heading Operations / Corporate Services with strong cross-functional exposure across Finance, HR, Admin, Legal, and Compliance.

- Proven experience in Board-level reporting and working closely with senior leadership.

- Strong background in MIS design, dashboards, and KPI frameworks.

- Hands-on exposure to fundraising, investor relations, and due diligence (M&A / investments).

- Experience working in technology / SaaS-based startups or high-growth environments.

- Established relationships with PE / VC investors preferred.

- Fundraising experience is a strong value addition.
