Head - Operation - D2C/FMCG

GoldenBridge Search has been mandated to hire a Operation's Head for a growing d2c brand. They're building a high-performance haircare brand tailored for Indian hair-rooted in biotechnology, scientific precision, and deep understanding of Indian weather conditions. Starting from a strong salon presence, we're now scaling rapidly through our direct-to-consumer journey, aiming to redefine the category from India.

What You'll Do

1. Lead end-to-end supply chain: imports, domestic, exports, warehousing, fulfilment

2. Build and scale the D2C operations engine-fulfilment, last-mile, returns, and SLAs

3. Oversee inventory planning across D2C, salons, PR, and emerging channels

4. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics & warehousing

5. Own cost optimisation and operational efficiency metrics

6. Drive project management for new launches, from factory to customer

7. Build and mentor an operations team; establish systems, SOPs, and accountability

8. Create and maintain dashboards for leadership on inventory, fulfilment, and costs

9. Anticipate risks and implement contingency plans for smooth execution at scale

What We're Looking For

1. 6-10 years of experience in operations/supply chain within D2C, FMCG, or beauty & personal care brands

2. Proven experience scaling from hundreds to thousands of orders per day

3. Strong understanding of fulfilment systems (EasyEcom/Unicommerce), 3PLs, and warehousing

4. Highly analytical-comfortable with dashboards, cost tracking, and forecasting

5. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills focused on long-term partnerships

6. Leadership experience-built or led small operations teams before
