Head - Operation & Production - Textile

- We are looking for a production head category "GM operations and production" to be based at our factory in Sankrail, Howrah.

- Candidate (Indian or even foreign nationals Srilankan) should possess the experience and ability as below.

Leadership and management skills:

- Team Leadership: Ability to motivate, lead, and manage production staff 450 +

- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing plans to meet production goals and business objectives.

- Budget Management: Overseeing and managing production budgets and implementing cost-saving measures.

- Decision-Making: Strong ability to make effective decisions in complex situations.

- Operational and technical skills

- Production Planning: Overseeing production planning and control (PPC).

- Process Optimization: Identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

- Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with and application of lean principles to improve productivity.

- Quality Control: Ensuring products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

- Supply Chain Coordination: Managing raw material procurement, inventory, and logistics.

- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of weaving / knitting, tape dyeing, finishing, and tape construction techniques including preparatory process.

- Communication and problem-solving skills

- Problem-Solving: Identifying root causes of issues and implementing corrective actions quickly.

- Communication: Clearly conveying information and collaborating effectively with departments like merchandising, design, and sales.

- Interpersonal Skills: Building strong relationships with staff, management, and customer.

- Analytical Skills: Analysing production data to identify trends and improve performance.
